As much as I try to convince my parents it was actually "Horsey", they maintain that my first word was "Hockey." I'm so Canadian, and proud of it.
But speaking of being canadian, and my current exile in the US, I'm going to be missing Canada day tomorrow. This is the second time in a row, as I missed it last year when we went house hunting. This year, I'm gonna be at Science camp. So I'll celebrate one of my favorite holidays by studying proteins. Fun stuff.
But seriously. Canada day at the embassy would have been so awesome. Sometimes, I REALLY hate my life XD.

Um, hi. Haven't posted in awhile, most likely because life has tried it's best to drown me in an onslaught of constant homework and a variety of after school activities that have eaten up the remaining of my spare time.
However, I have come back to say that I HAVE A LIFE AGAIN!!!!!
Or, as much of a life as had before, at least. So I suppose that I could give a brief summary of what has been going on in my life as of late.
First and foremost, I have been busy with a school production that recently ended last weekend. It's an amazingly unique musical extravaganza that my school has put on every year since 1989. When I say that it's unique, I mean that it's not a musical or a individual showcase, but more like a rock concert. Organized by the choral department, a variety of popular songs are performed by students, along with backup singers and dancers as if it were a real professional show. The show is called Blast to the Past, as it usually incorporates some older pop and rocks songs that are still well-known today. This years theme was Instant Replay, as the show was celebrating their 20th anniversary. Obviously, this was my first experience with the show, so I really didn't know what to expect. All in all, it was quite a lot of work, but extremely fun in the end.
I'm just sorry that I can't explain it better. But it's really hard to describe Blast in all it's glory with just words, the actual experience itself is fairly mind blowing, and even more so when you know that you're a part of it. Now that it's over, I can't wait until next year!!!
Anyways, to go one with the last few months of my life... I want to Hawaii!!
Uh, yeah. However, since that entire experience would need a whole post to itself, I might as well not even try. I'll just say that it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
Now that Blast is over, I finally have some time to ride my horse again. For the last two weeks before that show opened, we were having all-night rehearsals from the end of school to 8 O'clock at night. As a result, i fell behind in my homework as well...
So while I'm sad that Blast is over, I'm relieved as well. I now have a whole bunch of spare time that I took for granted before, but seems like a luxury to me now. Sort of like waking up from a long sleep. What's even more disturbing is the fact that school will be over soon. I write my AP French exam on Monday (study study study!!) and my AP English one about a week after that. After that, I just need to pass my final exams, write my SAT in June and then... HELLO SUMMER!
Anyways, considering I have a riding lesson tomorrow and need to get some studying done, I shall leave you now and hopefully you'll hear from me again soon! XD

I don't really know how, but somehow I lost 20 years in two days. According to Wii Fit, I am now 16. Go figure. All in all, this only proves my skepticism.
Anyways, I have a crapload of homework to do, two essays to write and an imaginary friend to entertain. I'm out.

Heh, this is more like it, though just 5 books would get a little boring after awhile. Could I bring a Kindle instead? ^_^ It doesn't need batteries, it's solar powered!!
Ahem. So assuming that I can't bring a Kindle I would bring:
The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman
Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden
HP and the Deathly Hallows by J.K Rowling
The Iliad by Homer (I haven't read all of this yet, but I figure I should bring at least one book I haven't read)
Catch-22 by Someone whose name I forget
and... wait, that's it right?
And no, I am NOT BRINGING ANY LOTR!!! Surprisingly enough, I haven't read any of them yet, so rather then just bring one and torture myself for the rest of my life wondering what happens in the other two books, or bring all three of them and only have room for two other books, I shall just scrap them altogether. Sorry. XD

EDIT: I possible, I might trade one of my first choices for the Complete Works of Shakespeare because I'm a nerd in love with English literature and all that good stuff. XD

Played Wii Fit for the first time yesterday. Still kinda skeptical about how much it can actually get me more in shape, but according to it's calculations I have the body of a 36 year old. Thats very comforting. T_T

Ummm, can I just trade in the DVDs and bring extra books? ^_^
...but I guess I'd bring my RENT movie and Doctor Who. And The Last Unicorn. And Rurouni Kenshin.
Going off topic for a bit here, but we get a two-hour delay from school tomorrow ^_^ That makes me very very happy.

It's official. My mother is an idiot.
Guess what happened yesterday as my mom tried to "clean out the computer" to make more space?
EVERYTHING is now deleted. Every. Single. Thing.
All my stories, my pictures, my homework, my icons, my movies, my bookmarks, my LIFE is now gone.
Strangely enough, the iTunes library didn't get deleted too. Which I can only say is VERY fortunate for my mom because if she had deleted all of my music on top of everything else, she would have left our home in a body bag.
And what pisses me off the most is that our computer is so old that even with everything all gone it probably won't work much better than before -- it's OUTDATED. Mom, if you're determined to buy only Macs, you gotta keep up with the technology. Our computer is ANCIENT. Apple is a company that depends on people buying their latest stuff; if the old stuff kept working they wouldn't make any profit. Jump on the bandwagon and BUY BUY BUY!!
My life no longer has any meaning.
